"BROKEN DREAMS BLVD" is a workplace comedy that takes place on Hollywood Boulevard. Our characters work for a tour company, juggling their interpersonal relationships while entertaining the visiting tourists of each episode.
Frank Zemlee is the owner/operator of Tinsel Town Tours. On the brink of bankruptcy, Frank must scheme everyday to keep his company afloat while managing his crew of slightly delusional dreamers. The characters who work for Tinsel Town have all come to Hollywood to become stars but for now are living a life that couldn’t be further from it.
Aside from trying to reign in his lovable but not so stable crew, Frank will also have to contend with Teddy Rivelli (Danny Aiello). Teddy is out to monopolize the tour business and as he runs for Mayor he makes it clear that he wishes to tear down all of old Hollywood and transform it into a cold corporate entity.
Tinsel Town is one of the last operations of the old boulevard. It's the ugly duckling with heart and hustle. Eventually Frank will have to sell a stake in Tinsel Town to Teddy…This forced partnership creating more comedic tension throughout the season.
